Missions Scholarships
Honor Her scholarships help women who are students at Grace Schools in Winona Lake, Indiana, explore future ministry possibilities through participating in short-term missions sponsored by Encompass or other Grace Brethren ministries. For more information contact Miriam Pacheco.
Monies for the scholarships are donated, usually in honor or memory of someone who has had a significant impact in the life of the donor. To donate, select an option below:
~ TO APPLY FOR THIS SCHOLARSHIP YOU MUST:
1) Be a female Grace Schools student (preference will be given to full time students).
2) Be a Missions major/minor or have a Missions focus for your future.
3) Be accepted on or in the final steps of applying for a team through Encompass World Partners or CE National.
2012 Honor Her recipient: Elizabeth Guinter
Encompass intern in Paris, France – September 2012
Elizabeth is from the East Side Baptist Church in Crawfordsville, IN, and has recently started attending the Grace Community Church in Goshen while she’s in school. She will be interning with Rob & Nichole Plaster in Paris during the month of September, after she does some study in French over the summer to increase her facility in the language.
Elizabeth shares, “I suppose I could say that everything is wonderful and that I’m in a constant state of growth. Honestly, my relationship with the Lord has its ups and downs. There are times when I think that I can do things on my own and I don’t rely on the Lord. It is in the midst of these times that I am forced to go to my knees and to seek God again. I am always reminded of grace and how much I need it.”
